The Pioneer Volunteer Fire Association Donated a new UTV ((4×4) vehicle and trailer to the Fire District. This vehicle is a valued piece of equipment that will be utilized to assist emergency service personnel in the following type of events:

Urban Rescues/Medical
Wilderness Rescue/Medical
Weather Related terrain
Snow and Ice (access when roads have not been plowed or to icy for emergency vehicles)
Technical Rescues
Water Rescues
Reduce fatigue and safety fatigue issues
Helps us be more efficient with time management on rescues
Overhaul on vegetation fires
Training
Other
We don’t anticipate to have this vehicle in service sometime in mid October 2018

This tool/vehicle  is greatly appreciated and will benefit the citizens of this district and county.
